Hidden

Cloth that covers our bodies can be seen as a metaphor of the skin, a container that is as much about what is kept inside, as well what will always be excluded. It protects, wraps, gives sensual feelings, brings memories, heals our wounds, it is a portal to different worlds.
What stories are hidden beneath the skin?

“Hidden” is the exhibition of the new bodies of work made on fabric by artist Ewelina Skowrońska. Inspired by Enchi Fumiko novels, mythology and her recent trip to Poland, artists preserve and reveal intangible feelings, stories, and emotions, those private ones and those that are impermanen.
